Real skills, real neighbours, real resilience.

Sangudo RegenFest is a community-led non-profit built around a simple idea: that we learn better when we learn together. Through our annual multi-day festival and seasonal gatherings, we bring neighbours together to share practical skills for a resilient rural life.

What We Do

Our core focus is passing down real, everyday skills that make rural life simpler, safer, and sweeter.
At our gatherings, you’ll roll up your sleeves with local neighbours who are makers, farmers, herbalists, and fixers in sessions like:

Food Preservation & Pantry Skills:
Hands-on canning, fermenting, smoking, curing, and making the most of your harvest.

Herbalism & Wildcrafting:
Plant identification, foraging walks, and blending your own herbal salves, teas, and syrups.

Tool Care, Repair & Mending:
Sharpening knives and axes, basic mending, woodcraft, and keeping old tools working like new.

Gardening, Soil & Seed Saving:
Building healthy prairie soil, seed saving, composting, and growing food in our climate.

Fibre Arts & Handcraft:
Willow basketry, wool work, leathercraft, and traditional handmade artistry.

Neighborly Community & Mutual Aid:
Crop swapping, tool libraries, and building networks of local support.

Supported By
